1. Do you have any books that are signed by the author? Not anymore.


2. Do you have a story behind the autograph? I used to have Walter Moseley's Blue Light. I went on a Easy kick years ago and my sister went to a book signing and got me a copy. I lost the book in storage about 2 years ago.

I just have not been able to get into any book I've picked up lately. Maybe because there has been so much drama in my life lately, I just can't get into anyone else's. So I have put down the serious books and picked up Eleven On Top by Janet Evanovich. Her books are just laugh out loud funny. I'm looking forward to seeing what Stephanie and friends are getting into this time around.

I have never been a fan of Science Fiction. I've read Walter Moseley's Blue Light because my sister got me an autographed copy for my birthday one year, but it took me forever. It ook me about 2 weeks to read when a book that size can usually be read in about 1-2 days. I just can't get into it. But Octavia Butler's books are fasinating. I was completely captivated by Kindred. This was a book read at stop lights while driving because it couldn't be put down. I was deeply saddened to learn that her powerful voice will be heard no more. Rest in peace, you will be missed.
